HOSPITALITY AT THE NEXUS OF CONVENTION CENTER AND LIGHT RAIL

HYATT REGENCY DENVER

DENVER, CO

DESIGN SUITABLE FOR A CIVIC AREA

The primary hotel serving the expanded Colorado Convention Center, the 27-story Hyatt is located in the heart of a growing and dynamic urban center. The relationship of how the building gracefully meets the "floor" of the city was of critical design importance. Working closely with the architects, studioINSITE designed a block-long porte-cochère of 15,000 square feet of stone that spans the width of the hotel.

A STREET REDESIGN PROVIDES A WELCOME PEDESTRIAN WALKWAY

The adjacent Califronia streetscape redevelopement supports the hotel with cafe seating and high level paving. A dense row of planters, banners, and trees separates the hotel and walkway from the adjacent light rail line.
