NATURAL ASSETS PROVIDE RECREATIONAL ENJOYMENT
Opening in 2013, Colorado's newest state park provides a variety of recreational amenities just 45 minutes from Denver. studioINSITE (as Landworks) led the master plan for the 3700 acre parcel. The site has many natural assets for the public to enjoy including a granite ridgeline, providing opportunities for rock climbing, and a natural waterfall.
FIRST PHASES OF WORK PROVIDES 23 MILES OF TRAILS
After a two-year planning process, the first two phases of implementation have included 23 miles of both multi-use and hiking-only trails, 28 campsites, trail signage, group picnic areas, parking areas, and a temporary park office. Future phases will include a visitors center and an educational classroom.
